Distributor Responsibilities

As distributors you have a responsibility to resource your customers to the best of your ability. This allows your customers to grow in their businesses which in turn grows your business. We’ve established that the majority of your customers lack the knowledge to not only grow in the way in which they would like. Typically the reason is the “shoulder season”. Resourcing these customers during this critical and most challenging time of the year will be a game changer for them; and you, as you work to grow your sales while keeping your AR down to as little as possible.

Responsibilities required:

  • Suitable training or meeting room at your branch location

  • Promotion and focused encouragement on attendance and engagement

  • Distributor and TM presence during event

That’s it!

All that is required in return is support by the branch and its leaders.

What’s the catch?

Every expert that participates in these sessions are accomplished in their own rights and have a genuine passion to resource the local business. The focus of these sessions will be exactly that. However, if a participate wishes to engage further with the experts and their services after experiencing them during these sessions the experts would be honored to call that a win-win.

Our commitment:

  • The sessions are for general training resources and will not be used as marketing opportunities for the experts and their services!

  • Experts may engage in 1:1 services for attendees only if they are approached personally by the customer.

 FAQs

  • Zero! However, you are welcome to charge fee from your brand to cover the cost of hosting. Word of caution, please be mindful to not create a financial barrier for your customers to attend!

  • Each session will include industry experts in key focus areas that will train in blocks leaving your dealers with actionable items to take to their businesses. Each session will be 3 hours long with breaks in between focus trainings.

  • Ideally you will want to identify those that have a drive to improve but need guidance on where to start. Any contractor that drives hard in the busy season but seems to go silent in the shoulder season will greatly benefit from this summit.

  • There is a small list of requirements for each session to be as successful as possible:

    • A comfortable training room or meeting space to focus

    • TV large enough for presentation purposes

    • Small breakfast & lunch for attendees as well as refreshments during the session

  • If a significant or unsafe weather event is expected it is likely that the onsite session will be moved to a zoom session. We will ensure attendees have adequate notice to adjust travel plans.

  • Each attendee will have the opportunity to sign up for an online portal that will host all resources from previous events along with schedules and session updates.
